Han Yang University Special Lecture Series

Hanyang University, one of Korea’s top institutions of higher learning once again invited Mr. McKinney to speak at the Division of International Studies.

The Special Lecture Series is a signature course that gives students an opportunity to hear from business leaders and prominent guest speakers working in their respective international fields, allowing students to get an insight into the real world of the international arena. In connection with the theme of this year’s special series "Careers In The International Field", Mr. McKinney, President & Founder of McKinney Consulting, Inc. presented a lecture entitled "CEO of Your Own Career". He provided the students with a tool kit not only for launching themselves into the international professional environment, but also provided nine specific tips on how to continuously foster their own ongoing success.

After the lecture, Mr. McKinney commented that the students were a lively and interactive audience, and they seem to be getting better each year. "It’s always great fun speaking to these students because they not only represent the future of international business in Korea, but also demonstrate a mindset that will enable their success internationally" he said.

The objective of the organizer Professor YounKyoo Kim, Division of International Studies at Hanyang University was to give the students an insight into the activities of their guest lecturers about what they do as an international professional, why they chose to be in their fields and recommendations they would like to give to these university students.
