Steven B. McKinney Speaks to Florida’s Crummer Graduate School Students

Novatel Hotel Seoul, Korea. -- April 25, 2006 -- Crummer Graduate School of Business Students from Winter Park, Florida is noted for its excellence in education. This semester around seventy of them had a chance of a lifetime and traveled to Korea for a few weeks to study investment opportunities in Korea. Steven B. McKinney, President & Founder of McKinney Consulting, Inc. gave a special lecture to Crummer Graduate School of Business Students from Winter Park, Florida on business opportunities in Korea from an entrepreneur’s perspective.

Steve McKinney said, “Establishing your own business or creating a branch office or rep office in Korea is done every day as there is quite a bit of trade between the USA and Korea.  Korea is the USA’s 7th largest trading partner. While the processes and procedures are different, the “red tape” as we call it in America exists here as well.  You merely have to pick good partners and strong support networks to be successful in Korea.

In addition to Mr. McKinney’s speech, the U.S. Embassy Commercial Section was well represented by Ms. Helen Hwang; while the Korean Government Organization Invest Korea was represented by Mr. Choi, Jang-Sung and Mr. Todd Sample. Mr. Tom Pinnasky, Attorney from the Barun Law Firm rounded out the panel.
