McKinney Gives Career Lecture to Seoul’s Top Women’s University

Ewha University, Seoul, Korea -- May 06, 2005 -- Ewha University, Seoul’s top Women’s University continues it excellent educational offering by inviting guest professionals from industry.  Today, Mr. Steven B. McKinney, President & Founder of McKinney Consulting, Inc. make a return trip to Ewha and speaks to a group of students in the  International Business Division of the University about Resume Building, Networking, and Working for Multinational Companies.

Steve McKinney said, “I really enjoy coming to Ewha as the quality of the education here is superb.  My firm places many former graduates from Ewha into our multinational client companies. While many of the Ewha ladies (the largest and most prestigious Women’s University in Korea) will go on to work for Korean local companies, many actually move on to multinational firms.  To prepare for this leap requires additional education for the differences that exist between working for a traditional Korean firm and a multinational organization.  This lecture focused on how the resume and networking experience is different. Specific tips and guidelines were shared to open their mind to discuss and understand these differences.
